Tecno Spark 20 made its debut in India today i.e. 30th January. The phone comes in the entry-level segment. Its price in this country is kept less than 10,500 rupees. This handset offers several upgraded features compared to the predecessor Tecno Spark 10 (coming in 2023) phone.
The Tecno Spark 20 model features a 32-megapixel selfie camera, custom skin based on Android 13, DTS stereo speaker system, 5,000mAh battery and side-mounted fingerprint scanner. For the sake of comparison, the predecessor model used the Helio G37 processor. Whereas the successor comes with the Helio G85 chipset. The Tecno Spark 20 smartphone has been launched in the Indian market with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant, priced at Rs 10,499. Aspirants will be able to purchase the device from February 2 via e-commerce site Amazon and select offline retail stores – in Neon Gold, Gravity Black, Cyber White and Magic Skin 2.0 (Blue) color options.
As part of the launch offer, Tecno will offer an OTT subscription of Rs 5,604 with this new handset. In this case buyers will get free access to more than 23 OTT platforms including SonyLIV, Zee5, Fancode, Lionsgate Play, Shemaroo under this offer.
Tecno Spark 20 Specifications and Features
Tecno Spark 20 comes with flat edge and plastic unibody design. This smartphone has a 6.6-inch HD Plus (1612×720 pixels) IPS LCD touchscreen, which supports 90 Hz refresh rate. It uses MediaTek Helio G85 processor and Mali G52 MC2 GPU. 8 GB RAM and 256 GB ROM will be available as storage.
However, it is possible to expand its storage capacity with a microSD card. The device runs Android 13 based HiOS custom skin. As a security feature, it will benefit from a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
Talking about the camera department, the Tecno Spark 20 features a 50-megapixel rear primary camera (0.08 auxiliary lens) with dual LED flash and PDAF and a 32-megapixel selfie shooter. DTS stereo speaker system is available for delivering great sound.
Further for connectivity it includes – 4G LTE, GPS, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.2, FM radio and USB Type-C port. This phone has a 5,000mAh capacity battery, which supports 18W fast charging. Finally the IP53 rated Tecno Spark 20 measures 163.7×75.6×8.5mm.
