After making a comeback with the Honor 90 smartphone last year, HTech is gearing up to launch multiple products in India. HTech Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Madhav Seth has been sharing multiple teasers of the upcoming Honor X9b, Honor Choice Earbuds X5 and Honor Choice Watch on social media.
And now, the company has revealed the launch date of Honor X9b in the Indian market. The phone is going to come with a curved AMOLED display in February next year with significant improvements. This handset will be launched in the mid-range segment in the country.
Honor X9b is coming to India next month
The brand has confirmed that the Honor X9B smartphone will launch in India on February 15. HTech claims that this smartphone will eliminate the need for tempered glass in the industry. The teaser reveals that the brand will launch the phone with an ultra-bouncing display featuring India’s first ‘airbag’ (non-car related) technology.
HTech also highlighted that it is going to offer more with a curved AMOLED display. The device’s curved AMOLED display will also withstand accidental damage. The Honor X9B was recently listed on Amazon India’s platform, indicating that the smartphone will be available exclusively on Amazon, just like the Honor 90 5G.
The Amazon listing confirms that the Honor X9B will debut with a maximum of 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Also, HTech will launch the smartphone in Sunrise Orange color option and will run on Android 13 operating system. An earlier report revealed that the company will price the Honor X9B handset between Rs 25,000 and Rs 30,000.
Incidentally, HTech is also expected to announce the launch of Honor Choice Earbuds X5 and Honor Choice Watch in the coming days. The Honor X9b is said to be available in a combo offer of Rs 35,000 with the Choice Earbuds X5.
Honor X9b 5G Specifications and Features (Probable)
The Honor X9b 5G will feature a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with 1.5K (1,200 × 2,652 pixels) resolution, 429 ppi pixel density, 120 Hz refresh rate, 1,200 nits peak brightness, 1,920 Hz PWM dimming, and SGS will offer glass protection.
The phone will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor, coupled with 8GB/12GB RAM and 8GB virtual RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. Honor X9b 5G will run MagicOS 7.2 (MagicOS 7.2) custom skin based on Android 13.
In terms of cameras, the rear panel of the Honor X9b 5G will feature a triple camera setup comprising of a 108-megapixel primary camera with f/1.75 aperture, a 5-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor, a 2-megapixel macro lens and LED flash. A 16-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.45 aperture can be seen in front of the phone.
For power backup, the Honor X9b 5G will have a massive 5,800mAh battery, which will support 35W fast charging. The phone will measure 163.6 × 75.5 × 7.98 mm and weigh 185 grams. For security, the Honor X9b 5G will include a fingerprint scanner as well as a face unlock feature. The device will be launched in color options like Sunrise Orange, Emerald Green, Titanium Silver and Midnight Black.
