After a long wait, Realme today launched the Realme 12 Pro series in India. There are two models in this lineup – Realme 12 Pro and Realme 12 Pro Plus. While both the phones have the same design, the specifications are different. Similar to last year’s Realme 11 Pro series, the new phones are characterized by looks and cameras. Of these, the Pro variant offers a full HD+ OLED display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor, 50-megapixel Sony OIS camera and 67W fast charging. Specifications of Realme 12 Pro
The main attraction of Realme 12 Pro is the design inspired by luxury handsets. It has a fake leather back panel and a large rear camera module. The phone has a 6.7-inch punch-hole curved OLED (OLED) display on the front, offering a FullHD+ resolution of 2,412 x 1,080 pixels, 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate.
In addition, this 10-bit screen supports 2,160 Hz PWM dimming and up to 950 nits peak brightness level. This Realme handset is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset and runs Realme UI 5.0 custom skin based on Android 14.
For photography, the rear panel of the Realme 12 Pro features a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) support, a 32-megapixel Sony IMX709 sensor with 2x telephoto lenses and OIS, and an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens. And there is a 16 megapixel selfie camera in front. For power backup, Realme 12 Pro comes with a powerful 5,000mAh battery, which supports 67W wired fast charging. Besides, other features of the phone include Dolby Atmos-supported dual stereo speakers and in-screen fingerprint sensor.
Realme 12 Pro price and availability
Realme 12 Pro has been launched in India with two storage options. 25,999 for the base 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model. And the higher 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant can be bought for Tk 26,999. It will be available in two color options – Submarine Blue and Navigator Beige – on Flipkart and the company’s official website as well as retail stores across the country.
Realme 12 Pro’s Early Access Sale will start today, January 29 at 6 PM. And the regular first sale will be held on February 6 at 12 noon The pre-order window is open from today for offline stores, but will open from tomorrow on online channels.
