Samsung is currently working on several new mid-range phones in the Galaxy A and M series. The design and specifications of some of the models have already been leaked. And now Samsung Galaxy A35 5G and Galaxy A55 5G have appeared on the platform with BIS certification in India. Both handsets have already received approval from the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and the Bluetooth Special Interest Group (Bluetooth SIG). Samsung Galaxy A35 5G and Galaxy A55 5G got BIS approval
The Bureau of Indian Standards Certification has given the green signal to the Samsung Galaxy A35 5G and Galaxy A55 5G – phones to enter the Indian market. But as usual, no details about the specifications or features are known from the BIS platform. However, as mentioned earlier, the details of these phones have been leaked online and various information has also surfaced from listings on various certification sites.
Samsung Galaxy A55 and Galaxy A35 5G Specifications (Probable)
The Samsung Galaxy A35 5G with model number SM-A356U has recently appeared on the Geekbench benchmarking platform. According to its listing, the phone will be powered by the Exynos 1380 chipset. This same processor is found in the Samsung Galaxy A54 and M54/F54. This octa-core chipset has four cores clocked at 2 GHz and four cores clocked at 2.40 GHz.
Also, it is known from Geekbench database that the phone will have 6 GB of RAM and will run on Android 14 operating system. In terms of performance, the Samsung Galaxy A35 scored 697 points in Geekbench’s single-core test and 2,332 points in the multi-core test.
On the other hand, TUV Rheinland and China Compulsory Certification (3C) have confirmed that the Samsung Galaxy A55 5G model will launch with 25W wired fast charging. The phone may feature a 6.5-inch FullHD+ OLED display, which will offer a 120Hz refresh rate. The Galaxy A55 5G is expected to run on Samsung’s own Exynos 1480 processor, coupled with AMD GPUs.
For photography, it will feature a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 50-megapixel primary sensor, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens and a 5-megapixel macro camera. And 32 megapixel selfie camera can be seen in front of the phone. The Samsung Galaxy A55 5G may come with a large 5,000 mAh battery.
Besides, the Samsung Galaxy A35 is rumored to offer a 6.6-inch display with curved angles. Both the smartphones are likely to hit the market in the second quarter of this year, i.e. between April and June. But there will be no surprise if Samsung launches before that.
