Speculations about Xiaomi’s latest smartphone, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra, have been rife for the past few months. It was reported today that the device could make its debut towards the end of February.
The launch of the handset has been reinforced since the Xiaomi Group president recently released a teaser on Chinese microblogging website, Weibo. And now Xiaomi 14 Ultra has appeared on Geekbench benchmarking platform. Let’s find out what information emerged from this benchmark database.
Xiaomi 14 Ultra spotted on Geekbench platform
Xiaomi 14 Ultra 24030PN60G is listed on Geekbench database with model number. The ‘G’ at the end of the model number denotes the global variant. The Xiaomi phone with this model number has appeared on several certification sites before. According to the benchmarking platform, the motherboard used in the Xiaomi 14 Ultra is codenamed ‘Aurora’.
It is an octa-core processor with a maximum clock speed of 3.30 GHz. It is also reported that it will be paired with an Adreno 750 GPU. These details indicate that the Xiaomi 14 Ultra will likely come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset.
The benchmark listing also revealed that the Xiaomi 14 Ultra will have 16GB of RAM. But there may be more options. It is also mentioned that the smartphone will run on Android 14 operating system. It is worth noting here that the Xiaomi 14 Ultra was spotted on Geekbench 4 and not on the latest Geekbench 6 platform.
In terms of performance, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra scored surprisingly high in the single-core and multi-core tests of the benchmark database. In both the tests the device scored 9,317 and 15,523 points respectively.
Notably, Xiaomi 14 Ultra has already received approval from Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), European Economic Community (EEC) and IMEI. Xiaomi 14 Ultra is claimed to be the world’s first smartphone with 80W wireless charging support.
The flagship Xiaomi phone is also rumored to feature a 1,440-pixel quad-curved display, ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, satellite communication and four 50-megapixel cameras.
